Birth through Present:
At age 18 he met his first love Kristian Snyder after a year of dating and brutal fights among other things they broke up. This relationship has scarred Mike for life. It also impacted his performance at the Academy resulting in him failing a test to get into Starfleet Intelligence and special Ops. With this failure over head Mike flung himself back into his work studying hard to hide the anger and pain from his bad relationship. He never let to many know of it as he always tended to hide his emotions and pain. During this time he also got back into the more underhanded things that his cousin Trent always seemed to be working on. While Trent got into R&D and smuggling of sorts he kept Mike with him as much as possible and through this working with his cousin Mike was able to pick up some underworldish contacts and allies. Although the allure of it was high to Mike he never let it get him from focusing on becoming a Starfleet Officer and he used the knowledge he learned from his cousin to aid him in his studying of Starfleet. He worked hard to learn all he could about Starships and Stations how they worked how to run them his grades went up in his classes. Although his attitude was more hostile and aggressive then ever and, has stayed there for the most part although he still is laid back and easy going the inner torment has taken a toll. After finishing his days at the Academy, he was sent to be a Operations Officer on a light frigate patrol ship U.S.S. Hemcliar. He served the ship well aiding the crew and Captain over his year tour with the ship before being recalled for further training. This training was to become a Officer in Starfleet instead of a NCO warrant Officer. After finishing Officer's training he was given the Chief Ops/Tactical position of the frigate U.S.S. Laabeak during the Dominion wars. His ship was extremely damaged during a battle. The ship would of been destroyed if it wasn't for his efforts along with The XO and Captain to save as many crew as possible. While pulling out and heading to the nearest station. The U.S.S. Laabeak was scraped as it was to badly damaged and her Captain and crew reassigned to other duties. A few unassigned crew members, Mike being one of them from The U.S.S. Laabeak awaited his next assignment. After a few months of waiting and working on a few things with his cousin Trent. Mostly working with a shipyard boss that was a friend from the Academy to get spare parts for a small project of designing a small attack ship known only as the Wraith. In the time that Mike had he helped Trent develop the first prototype the Wraith Mk I but, before work had begun on refining the Wraith project further Mike was Assigned to Deep Space 12 as it's Chief of Operations. Upon arriving on the Station Mike has set about doing the duties of a Good Chief of Operations and, has gotten a few things here and there to aid the station such as 2 large ore freighters to mine local mineral deposits. So far life on the station has suited him well and he likes it allot. The crew that he knows all are a good group. Recently he was delivered a new Mark II Wraith and given news that his cousin's Starbase has disappeared. With that Mike now seeks to continue the Wraiths development in his spare time although most of his time is spent working to keep the station in top running order and continuing to serve Starfleet with loyalty and honor. Generally laid back and kind but does have quite The temper and attitude when some one gets on his nerves. Aside from his manic depression giving him more of a pessimistic look on things he does have some very good positive ideas and generally try's to improve things then do harm but is known to be harsh in combat unrelenting and uncaring of his own danger or life to protect or stand up for what is right.

Bio: Debbie Patraw, eldest daughter of 4. With 1 Sister (Sheri) and 2 brothers (Jeff and Kevin). She was born in Wisconsin where she was raised with her brothers and Sister on a small farm. She went through school and, after graduation worked as a civil worker in her area. She met John by chance at a dance for local singles and from there things grew between them. After 2 years of dating, her and John where wed. Shortly after Debbie gave birth to Mike and raised him with John until their divorce. After the divorce. She raised him on her own as best she could. She then met a man named Brian through her workplace. She had a son with Brian named Derek. They where married shortly after his birth. When Mike was 17 and Derek was 12, Debbie was in an accident that has permanently disabled her, leaving Brian alone to make ends meet. The chronic pain that she suffers from eventual drove Mike away as he could no longer stand seeing his Mother hurt that way. Mike has not spoken to her since he left to join Starfleet.
Through High School:
John and Debbie Wagner had Mike a year into there marriage and raised him in a small town in Minnesota. By the time Michael was 6, Debbie and John had divorced and Debbie had retained custody. His Father John was never heard from again by his own choice. Mike was raised by his Mother alone until she met his now step dad and, Father of his step Brother Brain Wienrich. Brian never treated Mike as his own son but was slightly there for him while both Mother and step Father worked. Mike raised himself while going to school he was always a very intelligent young man. Always tinkering with things, listening to music writing poems and singing as well. He had a troubled youth constantly fighting depression and inner torment. He took that torment and used it to learn all he could about space travel and Starships. He also learned about what it must be like out there in space and of course dealing with his younger Brother. At age 15 Mike was diagnosed with Manic-Depression, something that he fights to this day even with the aid of modern medicine there was no way to cure it. Through out high school his cousin Trent got him into endless trouble always messing around with things they weren't supposed to and, doing some fairly underhanded deeds. At age 17 Mike left for Starfleet Academy as did Trent. Despite his very troubled and unfortunate childhood Mike turned out fairly well but not with out his scars and torment.
Starfleet to present:
At age 17, Mike finished high school and applied to Starfleet Academy with the hopes of being able to better himself. As well as seeing space, exploring it and writing of it, he always loved art even at the expense of grades. Being himself was always more important then any thing else. After all he only had himself to depend on for support and this did hold him back through his Academy years. He struggled with the work in some area's others coming natural such as history, science, weapons, Tactical combat, Ship and station operations and thinking on his feet. Also he was found to have latent empathic abilities of a limited sort but, it does give him a slight edge on talking with people. He seems to know the right words to say at times.
