He's honest and that's what people see first in him.
His friends often come to him to talk about their problems as they know that
he is an excellent listener.
Likes: coffee, he can't do anything without it. He likes to work on engineering projects, programming androids and holograms.
Dislikes: Liars and hypocrites. He doesn't like when he hasn't things under control.
Ambitions: To become a good Starfleet officer.
Traditions: The first thing he does in the morning is drink his cup of coffee. Only after that he is ready to function normally. He likes to listen to the music in his free time. He never wears his uniform off duty. He's favorite clothing is from 21st century, with the pictures on it.

BACKGROUND:
He was born 11.03.2344. in the embassy of Betazed in San Francisco.
His Father was ambassador of Betazed, so in that way Vin met many Starfleet
officers. He attended Elementary and High School in San Francisco.
He participated in high school swimming championships as a representative of
his school and had excellent results.
After High school he applies for the Starfleet Academy.
On Academy, his mentor was Lt.Cmdr. Keenan Kiaran.
After Academy he got a position on U.S.S. Holloway, as Engineering Officer.
After 2 years he got Promoted and new position as assistant chief officer on
U.S.S. Okinawa. In 2369. Okinawa was attacked by Breens and destroyed. Vin and
other 164 crew members was rescued by U.S.S. Washington moment before ship exploded.
Vin was transferred to U.S.S. Copernicus, as a Chief Engineering Officer.
2374. He got a position of XO on U.S.S. Paletown.
2378. Paletown was attacked by pirates. Vin saved the ship.
ABOUT HIS FAMILY:
Diesels is family with long history. They were one of the first Betazoids who
were in space.
Diesel family gave many architects, writers, historians.
Many of them were ambassadors, and they were one of first Betazoid officers
in Starfleet.
They have a long history in Starfleet. Many of them was Admirals and Captains.
