M.A.C.O. Corps Detachment Descriptions


The positions of the M.A.C.O. Corps Detachment include:

Detachment Commander
Detachment Executive Officer
Detachment Senior Enlisted Advisor
Platoon Commander
Platoon Sergeant

Detachment Commander

The Detachment Commander is responsible for all the M.A.C.O. personnel assigned to the ship / facility. S/he is required to take command of any special ground operations and lead such actions.

S/he also is a department head and a member of the Senior Staff. The M.A.C.O.'s could be called the 24th Century Commando's.


Detachment Executive Officer

The Assistant, works like any Asst. Department head, removing some of the work load from the Detachment Commander and if the need arises taking on the role of Detachment Commander.

S/he overseas the regular duties of the M.A.C.O.'s, from regular drills to equipment training, assignment and supply request to the ship / facilities Materials Officer.


Detachment Senior Enlisted Advisor

The Detachment Senior Enlisted Advisor is the highest ranked Enlisted M.A.C.O. in the Detachment. S/He is in charge of all of the M.A.C.O. enlisted affairs in the Detachment. The First Sergeant reports to the M.A.C.O. Detachment Commander in Command affairs and to the Detachment Administrative affairs.


Platoon Commander

The Platoon Commander is responsible for all the M.A.C.O. personnel assigned to his/her platoon. S/he is in required to take command of any special ground operation assignments and lead such actions. The Platoon Commander can act as Detachment Commander as needed.


Platoon Sergeant

The Platoon Sergeant removes some of the work load from the Platoon Commander and if the need arises taking on the role of Platoon Commander.

S/he overseas the regular duties of the M.A.C.O.'s, in his / her Platoon, from regular drills to equipment training, assignment and supply request to the ship / facilities Materials Officer.
