Bio:

Born in New-Berlin, her family moved to Psi Upsilon III at the age of 10. Growing up there Rebeeka grew a deep desire to join Star Fleet and studied the military history of a great range of different cultures. Of course it didn’t help that her parents both worked at the Academy as history teachers.

Entering the Academy on Psi Upsilon III at the age of 16 Rebeeka was the youngest of her class. Being the youngest in her class lead to some very interesting predicaments, the biggest was that she had to prove herself to her classmates. Getting the tattoo under her right eye was just the beginning of the long road to acceptance. Always being treated as a little sister, Rebeeka was out to prove that she could hold her own, she chose the Tactical Ops Major. Becoming the top of her class with Tactical Phaser Rifle, she bested all of the school’s records. On the physical exams Rebeeka was only bested by a Klingon, running and swimming where her best areas, however in hand to hand and strength Molor kept beating her time and time again.

The fact Rebeeka's parents were both teachers meant that she was pushed even hard to achieve the highest grades she could get, which led to her graduating in the upper 1/8'th of her class. As a Tactical officer on several different ships Rebeeka took advantage of the great opportunity to witness the universe and the military powers throughout it. She started to work on a dissertation on the combat vessels her ships encountered. By the third year out in space Rebeeka had well over over two terabytes of data typed up for the research paper, or maybe even a future book, she couldn’t decide.

During the Dominion War she raised through the ranks. On no less the three separate times did she have to assume Command of the ship she was stationed onboard, two of those times the commanding officers were incapacitated by major bridge damage. In one of those case she managed to effectively fight her way through a tactical retreat out of the combat situation. The third time she was running a message to the engine room (the Com’s were out). Upon reaching Engineering Rebeeka was informed the bridge had just been destroyed. She took command of the starship in the Battle Bridge, fighting on and on until the end of the engagement and scoring three kills and in the end, receiving a commendation for her bravery.. The battles she was in were varied from minor skirmishes all the way up to the retaking of Deep Space 9. The one that stood out the most in her mind was the second Battle of Chin’toka where she had to escape with others in her crew in life pods were they awaited rescue for a week and a half. The defeat and the loss of the ship she was on was a huge blow to her and forced her to strive even harder in the war.

Following the end of the war Rebeeka filed repeated requisitions for a Command posting. Request after request denied with no given reason, then came the news of her assignment to Deep Space 12. Yet another refusal for Command, yet this still seemed like it might have potential.
