Thursday, 04/12/2007:
The station remains at Red Alert. N'tran feels a strange sleepiness come over him and notices that the rest of the bridge crew seem less active than expected. N’tran wonders about a possible projected neural suppression field. N’tran notices a flickering star and fires a full broadside of phaser fire. The sound of the full broadside echoes throughout the station. The phaser fire hits and takes down the huge Scimatar class ship’s cloak. The enemy ship is within phaser range. N'tran focuses the sensors on the Scimatar class ship and announces they are powering weapons. Deep Space 12's phasers continue firing and hitting their target slowly taking down it’s shields to 40%. The Scimatar class backs out of weapons range to start repairs. A sensor image shows the Scimatar class's name written in Ferengi alphabet, Vengeance.
Thursday, 04/19/2007:
The station remains at Red Alert. The Electra had beamed most of her injuries to the Infirmary and was till trying to make its way back to the station. Captain Ken Wozniak awoke to find that he and the entire bridge crew had somehow been incapacitated for a short time. After hearing N’tran’s report, Captain Wozniak ordered repairs and to signal the U.S.S. Makin Island, to tell them to increase speed. The U.S.S. Makin Island reported they could arrive in a little under 70 hours. The Ferengi ship turned a made a run at the station, rocking it, but the shields held. Lt. Grimm was killed in a lift accident during the attack. The Ferengi ship grabbed the Electra with their tractor beam and sped away from the station at a high rate of speed. Captain Wozniak ordered the U.S.S. Cutlass to follow and to try to rescue the Electra. The Cutlass quickly caught up to the Ferengi ship and fired everything she had into the ship, causing it to let go of the Electra. The Cutlass continued firing, but being outgunned, retreated to the Electra. The Electra had been forced to eject her warp core, as it was going critical. The Cutlass beamed aboard as many remaining survivors as possible and towed the Electra away from the core for as long as it could in hopes it would survive the shockwave. Commander Scott Wozniak alerted Deep Space 12 of the situation and keyed up a spread of 10-photon torpedoes to be fired in a displacement pattern between the station and the warp core to try to minimize the shockwave. The Vengeance, wobbling back toward Deep Space 12, was hit hard by the shockwave and suffered severe damage, tumbling toward the station totally out of control. As the shockwave hit Deep Space 12, the station’s shields flickered and died, leaving them totally open to attack. Sensors showed the Ferengi crew had all beamed aboard Deep Space 12.

The Hubble loses it’s sensor pod while trying to escape the shockwave of Electra’s warp core. Dr. Chamille "Shimmer" O'Connor and her medical team, with the help of Torka, work hard to help the injured crew from the Electra. Commander Maith, upon realizing that the station had been boarded, ordered the computer to activate the station’s Emergency Plan. With station controls locked out in Ops, Commander Maith advised all station personnel to secure their areas and to protect the civilian population from harm while preventing the enemy from gaining control.
