2005 2006 2007 2008 2009
Thursday, 01/05/2006:
Mr. Gott tries unsuccessfully to integrate with the crew outside of his cook's apron, but apparently he becomes invisible without it.
Thursday, 01/12/2006:
Cleared of theft but ticked it happened, Lena tries to blackmail the location
of a canister out of Security.
Thursday, 01/19/2006:
Mr. Gott tries his luck again, but chooses Engineering and the warp core which
is off-limits. As he is formally ejected from the room, he starts wishing he
was back on the station already. Someone has apparently been setting fake canisters
because the computer incorrectly claims the hunt is complete, despite two of
the real ones still remaining unfound. No one seems to notice the error. Mr.
Gott again attempts to communicate with Lena as she returns to the mess hall.
Thursday, 01/26/2006:
A biosign is detected on the station, despite the baryon sweep in progress.
Thursday, 02/02/2006:
A light source becomes visible in the upper Promenade level, but the baryon
sweep makes sensors useless to detect more. A Vulcan freighter with some rather
bizarre-acting Vulcan's attempts to dock at Deep Space 12 and is apparently
unaware of the lock-down. They are diverted elsewhere. Ensign Tarrasque announces
they have been monitoring a cloaked vessel since the station was shut down.
Apparently the fake Vulcans have a package for Lena... she seems to get around
a lot for a mere bartender.
Thursday, 02/09/2006:
Ensign Tarrasque reports that the cloaked vessel is so far doing nothing more
suspicious than being there. Security prepare to take delivery of Lena's cargo
from the Vulcan ship.
Thursday, 02/16/2006:
It's six crates of Spice Beer, a test consignment to see if it will sell, as
Lena explains.
Thursday, 02/23/2006:
The intruder on the station is seen to be examining the floor plating of the
lower Promenade through passive sensors, and holding something that could be
a type 3 phaser as well as the light source. N'tran requests permission to board
the station. Captain Wozniak denies the request at this time. Lena's beer is
beamed to the aft shuttlebay, and she goes off to inspect it.
Thursday, 0302/2006:
Lena is temporarily blocked from entering the shuttlebay, but once again her
special privileges that no-one knows about mean she is allowed in.
Thursday, 03/09/2006:
Ken relents on refusing to let N'tran board the station, but orders he take
backup. Commander Scott Wozniak is the man.
Thursday, 03/16/2006:
Captain Wozniak apprises Captain Price of their findings, and thanks Ensign
Tarrasque for his efforts. Captain Price separates the Sun Tzu again for attack
mode and goes to Yellow Alert.
Thursday, 03/23/2006:
N'tran and Scott enter the station carefully. A white shape is seen near the
Orion's Belt, too small for a human. Lena starts to eavesdrop on some crew.
N'tran is caught by the apparent ghost of the chicken blown to bits some time
back on the station, and is shot by the intruder. The news quickly reaches the
Cutlass and the eavesdropping Lena.
Thursday, 03/30/2006:
The intruder shoots a crude projectile weapon at N'tran, who takes a hit again.
Something seems familiar, and he suspects it is Nitti. Meanwhile, the intruder
is spinning out of control due to recoil in a vacuum. Turns out he gets his
ancient weapons from Sigma Iota. The two have a bit of a brief discussion on
why Nitti is there.. again. Officer Smith uses his Intelligence authority to
attempt to beam himself into the fray, and manages to materialize in one piece,
thus far undetected.
Thursday, 04/06/2006:
As Nitti and N'tran square off against each other, Scott sneaks up and tackles
the criminal, sending them towards another solid surface. But random chance
lets Nitti get the upper hand, and he announces to N'tran that he has Scott
as a hostage now.
Thursday, 04/13/2006:
Lt. Chandler wakes up disorientated aboard the Cutlass, forgetting why they were there for a sec. Lena arrives for a greasy breakfast. N'tran considers spitting Horta acid at Nitti, but risks getting Scott also.
Thursday, 04/20/2006:
As N'tran reaches the spiral stairs, both Nitti and Scott crash into the stairs, having to grab railings and sacrifice their grip on each other to stop their flight. Scott's faceplate flickers, signaling that he must return to the Cutlass ASAP. Ken discusses the lack of new info on the mysterious glitch out there with Captain Price.
Thursday, 04/27/2006:
Scott is mentally recovering from the shock of the faceplate flicker and his struggle with Nitti. Tiberius copes with not being able to capture the criminal. The Baryon Sweep is still in progress, and as completes, new crew report onboard. Lt Commander Sarah Davidson, the new XO, reports for duty to Captain Ken Wozniak. Fr. Thane McGowan, the new Morale Officer, reports in. Lt. Marcus Rennie, the soon-to-be Chief of Intelligence, is monitoring things on the Sun Tzu when he notices a cloaked ship. He gives the order for Federation vessels to power down, after making some modifications to a photon torpedo. Torpedo is fired.
Thursday, 05/04/2006:
Lt. Torka Bythis arrives back on the station. Ken is attempting to get all systems back up since the Baryon sweep. Sarah introduces Ensign Bell, of Security. Also reporting in are PO1 Robert Welty (new brig officer, Ensign Pidge Perdue (Science Officer). Lt. James Grimm (Chief of Security), and Lt. Ion Chandler (Chief Engineer). Ion has been working with Chief O’Brian, from Deep Space 9, on the Baryon sweep. Ops has issues with GeeBeas Restaurant and their demand for power. The U.S.S. Borman arrives and Commander Diesel (CO of the U.S.S. Borman and now Mission Advisor to DS 12) meets with Ken.
Commander N’tran, still frustrated by his encounter with Nitti (sensor seep showed no signs of him), takes off for the third moon for a brief respite. Unfortunately, the torpedo hones in on his shuttlepod’s heat signature. There is some confusion (and concern) about the now-crispy Horta, who is promptly beamed to the Cutlass. N’tran demands to know who shot him, and suspects Nitti. Marcus demands to know who altered the specifications of the torpedo, which should not have targeted the Horta at all.
Thursday, 05/11/2006:
Mr. Gott reopens his shop. Lt. Paul Johnson (Chief Medical Officer of the Sun Tzu) visits with Shimmer. CWO4 “Guns” Donovan (Gunners Mate) reports for duty. (N’Tran and Pidge work together to solve the torpedo mystery.
Ken meets with the crew as they report in to Ops. Quanos shows Fr. Thane around the station and helps him get set up with personal quarters and his chapel.
Marcus reports in, and meets with N’tran to discuss the problem with the torpedo. It is determined that the engines of the shuttle pod were running hot because of the Horta’s mass… an unintentional circumstance and not sabotage at all. There are no hard feelings between them, and it is determined that a cloaked ship may be hiding behind the 3rd moon. Pidge returns to ops with the suggestion of taking a Runabout t out to the 3rd moon. Marcus agrees, and N’tran gives permission. Marcus asks Chief Smith to check his contacts in the Romulan Empire for cloaking devices/stolen new technology.
Thursday, 05/18/2006:
N’tran requests a repair crew for sabotaged internal sensors and some other problems around the station. He plans on monitoring the readings sent from Runabout, but then considers going with Marcus and Pidge. A torpedo launcher has been rigged to the Runabout Kentucky by Guns, on N’tran’s orders. The mission gets underway, and the three of them head towards the 3rd moon. The SunTzu will be monitoring progress, and will track them in case of the need to beam out in a hurry.
Thursday, 05/25/2006:
Ion can not reach his Brother through subspace communication. Fr. Thane gets the Chapel on the Promenade up and running. Meanwhile, the Runabout Kentucky, carrying N’tran, Marcus and Pidge, is in position to peek behind the 3rd moon. It is decision time, and N’tran suggests that the Kentucky continue on course, spend a few hours gathering asteroid fragments, and on the way back allowing one of the fragments to escape the tractor beam; the ‘fragment’ would be N’tran. However the point is moot, and the cloaked ship is discovered to be Ferengi Pod of Acquisition, which promptly goes to warp.
Thursday, 06/01/2006:
The Runabout Kentucky, containing Lieutenant Commander N’tran, Lieutenant
(jg) Rennie and Ensign Perdue, pursues the Ferengi Pod of Acquisition. It is
a fast-paced flight that ends when the ship drops out of warp. The Kentucky
circles around, and Lieutenant Commander N’tran begins to hail it, when
the ship rises up sharply and then ‘disappears’, without a trace.
The Runabout Kentucky returns to the station, and Lieutenant Commander N’tran
recommends going to Red Alert. The Captain calls the Red Alert, and orders all
hands to stations. Senior Staff is to report to the conference room for a briefing.
Commander Sarah Davidson is being transferred to the U.S.S. Electra as her new
Commander. Commander Maith, of the Klingon Defense Forces, is brought in as
the new Executive Officer, as part of an Officer Exchange Program. In other
news: Reporting in: Commander Maith, Lieutenant Azarlin, Lieutenant (jg) Torka
Bythis, Ensigns David Black and Liam Palanore, and PO1 Bob Welty. The Chapel
on the Promenade is officially opened. Lieutenant (jg) Torka Bythis gears up
the Science Lab, knowing that the Science Department may very well become a
hive of activity soon. Ensign Palanore and Lieutenant Azarlin discuss the Ferengi
they have encountered in life.
Thursday, 06/08/2006:
The Command Staff is assembling for the briefing. Lieutenant Commander Sarah
Davidson reports to the U.S.S. Electra, to take over command. Nitti, having
hid during the Baryon sweep, sets off to find the third fragment.
Thursday, 06/15/2006:
Lieutenant Commander Sarah Davidson, aboard the U.S.S. Electra, heads off to
pursue a strong sensor signal from the eastern sector, about two hundred thousand
or so kilometers out from Deep Space 12. The Senior Staff reviews the data concerning
the unknown ship. Captain Wozniak explains the reason for Red Alert, and the
Command Staff agrees with his concerns that a Ferengi Pod of Acquisition, with
this advanced of a cloaking technology, could pose a threat to Deep Space 12.
Lieutenant (jg) Marcus Rennie gives his opinion about the possibility of the
Ferengi buying up Romulan parts. He is also concerned that it might be possible
that a faction within Ferengi society does not agree with the reform policies
of Grand Nagus Rom. Lieutenant Commander N’tran confirms the Pod as having
a strong Romulan power signature, but stated that it could be the Pod’s
cloak signature or a Romulan Plasma Torpedo, as first witnessed aboard the U.S.S.
Enterprise stardate 1709.2 along the Romulan Neutral Zone. Lieutenant Commander
N’tran also points out that the upper portion of the Pod vanishes first,
when engaging its cloak. It is possible that the Ferengi Pod of Acquisition
entered a sensor blocked area; this could be a natural phenomenon, or something
artificial. However, the Horta doubts that the sensor blocked area is natural.
Thursday, 06/22/2006:
The Senior Staff briefing continues, with the Officers offering what data they
have: After further researching, it is determined by Lieutenant Commander N’tran
that the Pod disappeared into a Romulan Scimitar Class Warbird. Lieutenant (jg)
Marcus Rennie’s Intelligence network suggests that it was stolen from
a Romulan shipyard by the Ferengi, and the Senior Staff agrees that it is quite
possible that the Warbird is not totally operational yet. Commander Maith briefs
the Senior Staff about the capabilities of a Scimitar class. The Senior Staff
concludes that perhaps this particular ship does not have an operational Thaloron
generator. Captain Ken Wozniak clears the room of junior personnel, and then
proceeds to debrief the Senior Staff concerning classified information he has
received from Starfleet. Admiral Ross can confirm the Intelligence data regarding
the theft of the Romulan ship, and (much to everyone’s relief), the Warbird
does not have a Thaloron generator. Lt. Grimm has not shown up for the briefing,
and Captain Wozniak orders Lieutenant Kolidok to take his place. The Captain
then instructs the Senior Staff to get Deep Space 12 ready for any possible
confrontation. Dr. Chamille O’Connor is very unsettled at the Senior Staff
meeting, and fought hard to not allow her emotions to show. Father Thane MacGowan
urges the Captain to allow the Doctor and himself to leave, before the woman’s
emotions crack through.
Thursday, 06/29/2006:
Staff Meeting continued: Ensign Arapidge DuPrieg has been listening in on the
Staff Meeting from her station in Ops. Lt. Commander N’tran expressed
his concern over the lack of crew, due to the Baryon sweep. Captain Ken Wozniak
allows Father Thane MacGowan and Doctor Chamille O’Connor to leave, and
work with Ensign Torka Bythis in the Infirmary, to get things ready for any
possible casualties. Chief Warrant Officer 4 Guns Donovon barks at the crew
as he runs them through drills. Some of the crewmen whine about the Chief’s
approach to drills. Doctor O’Connor knows that the priest is aware of
her emotional distress, and ponders sharing her past history with him concerning
the Romulans. Father MacGowan offers his counseling services to her, should
she feel the need to use them. He shares a bit of his own history in an effort
to comfort the Doctor. Lieutenant Thrig Kolmik and the U.S.S. Kentucky report
that they are conducting some repairs and are on their way to assist Deep Space
12. He sends a coded message to Deep Space 12. Ensign Perdue picks up in Ops
and relays to the crew attending the Senior Staff meeting.
Thursday, 07/06/2006:
Father Thane MacGowan and Doctor Chamille O’Connor continue to talk. Ensign
Perdue picks up Lieutenant Thrig Kolmik’s coded message from her station
in Ops and relays to Lieutenant Commander N’tran, who relays it to the
other officers attending the Senior Staff meeting. Citizen S’priya gets
lost on the Promenade, and is found by Doctor O’Connor and Father MacGowan.
They attempt to locate her Mother, who is attending the Senior Staff briefing.
The U.S.S. Phantom docks at Deep Space 12, and the additional crew is a welcomed
sight. Meanwhile, back in the Senior Staff meetings: Lieutenant (JG) Marcus
Rennie suggests that Deep Space 12 go to Yellow Alert. Commander Maith, agrees,
and then speaks to Chief Warrant Officer Guns Donovan via the Com system, and
suggests he stop riding the crew over drills. Lieutenant Commander N’tran
agrees with the Yellow Alert. Captain Ken Wozniak heeds the advice to go to
Yellow Alert, and orders that the station’s crew continue preparing Deep
Space 12 for the possible attack from the Warbird. The Senior Staff Meeting
ends.
Thursday, 07/13/2006:
The station remains at Yellow Alert. Chief Warrant Officer Guns Donovan works to ready the station and is put in charge of temporary Weapons Damage Control and Repair. Lieutenant Kolidok will function as interim Chief Tactical Officer, working in conjunction with Ensign Rakka. Infirmary preparations were completed by Fr. Thane and Shimmer. N'tran starts on the engineering readouts and discovers a bad regulator, junction 12/A in section 7. Burgess and a two man crew reroute immediately and head down to make repairs. Captain Wozniak, Commander Maith,Lieutenant Rennie, Lieutenant Macgowan, and Ensign Perdue are notified to report to the phaser range for yearly qualification and/or new personnel phaser qualifications. Lieutenant Commander N'tran is notified to report to the phaser range for special weapon fitting. Nitti is almost caught hiding near the EPS junction 12-A.
Thursday, 07/20/2006:
The station remains at Yellow Alert. Burgess and the repair crew fix the sticky regulator. Despite his objections, Fr. Thane is forced to do his yearly phaser qualifications. Back in his quarters, Fr. Thane falls asleep and relives memories of the battle with the Breen from when he was assigned with the 1st Marine Regiment. Additional ships have arrived, including a Huk'nar frigate, and a Federation transport with a few more crew people. N'tran tells Burgess that the main fusion reactors, chambers 3 and 5 are working, but not at a hundred percent. Burgess and crew head to main engineering. Marcus talks to Maith about getting an internal sensor sweep going, Commander Maith agrees.
Thursday, 07/27/2006:
The station remains at Yellow Alert. Chamber 3 needs to be taken offline for a few hours to correct a laser alignment problem, but eventually gets going to the 80 percent level. The arriving starships and transports have increased Deep Space Twelve's crew to acceptable numbers. No sign of a cloaked ship, not even the Hubble. Power system restart has a few glitches. Internal sensor sabotage is 80% repaired, still no sensor coverage in some areas, such as the crawlways. Commander Maith orders Lieutenant Rennie and Mr. Kolidok to patrol the station in search of Nitti.
Thursday, 08/03/2006:
The station remains at Yellow Alert. Scanners are unable to detect the cloaked ship due to heavy traffic. Two ships are currently out looking for it. Ensign Perdue and N'tran will attempt to reconfigure the scanners manually.
Thursday, 08/10/2006:
The station remains at Yellow Alert. LT(jg) Marcus Rennie and team capture Nitti and have him beamed to the Brig.
Thursday, 08/17/2006:
The station remains at Yellow Alert. Maith and Captain Wozniak managed to sort through some old files from the previous XO's. Maith was relieved to hear that Nitti has been detained.
Thursday, 08/24/2006:
The station remains at Yellow Alert. N'tran develops a targeting plan to cover the entire sky with the station's phasers to try to detect the cloaked ship. Petty Officer Welty has medical ensure that Nitti is healthy and secures him in the isolation field.
Thursday, 08/31/2006:
The station remains at Yellow Alert. The Engineering staff, as well as a few others thrown in for good measure, have been able to complete the Chief Science Officer’s modifications to the phasers in a timely manner. Adjustments were made to not only detect, but also damage the ship’s cloaking device, if possible.
Thursday, 09/07/2006:
The station remains at Yellow Alert. CWO Donovon managed to equip N'tran with a Type 2 phaser despite his objections (although he finds a way to disable it). N’tran needs to fix a minor problem with one of the Type Ten phasers in Pylon Five before the phaser sweep can begin.
Thursday, 09/14/2006:
The station remains at Yellow Alert. Ensign David Black put the final touches to the portable power supplies for the brig to increase it’s power storage as high as possible , increasing the duration to 13 hours instead of 16 for a standard containment level.
Thursday, 09/21/2006:
N'tran works to re-grow the phaser emitter crystal on Pylon Five. So far all the efforts to rid the station of Voles have failed. N’tran is attacked by a vole, but is unharmed (his new phaser has chew damage though). Captain Wozniak orders the station to raise shields and to go to Red Alert for the phaser sweep. The Captain gives the order to fire phasers.
Thursday, 09/28/2006:
The station is at Red Alert for the phaser sweep. The U.S.S. Makin Island is en route to Deep Space 12. Emrys Kerelia is eager to reach Deep Space 12 to begin his position as Gunnery Sergeant. Lieutenant Colonel Evan James Hawthorne went over the personnel files of the men assigned to him while en route to Deep Space 12.
Thursday, 10/05/2006:
The station remains at Red Alert for the phaser sweep. For the time being, Lieutenant Colonel Evan James Hawthorne places Sergeant Major Sh’vaar in the role as acting deputy commandant in addition to his standard duties. Lieutenant Colonel Evan James Hawthorne also places Sergeant Kerelia in charge of the second platoon as platoon sergeant.
Thursday, 10/12/2006:
The station remains at Red Alert for the phaser sweep. Nothing new to report.
Thursday, 10/19/2006:
The station remains at Red Alert for the phaser sweep. Nitti complained about not being fed in the brig.
Thursday, 10/26/2006:
The station remains at Red Alert for the phaser sweep. Nothing new to report.
Thursday, 11/02/2006:
The station remains at Red Alert for the phaser sweep. Sinar pressed the button to begin the phaser sweep.
Thursday, 11/09/2006:
The station remains at Red Alert for the phaser sweep. Nothing new to report.
Thursday, 11/16/2006:
The station remains at Red Alert for the phaser sweep. Nothing new to report.
Thursday, 11/23/2006:
The station remains at Red Alert for the phaser sweep. Nothing new to report.
Thursday, 12/07/2006:
The station remains at Red Alert for the phaser sweep. Nothing new to report.
Thursday, 12/14/2006:
The station remains at Red Alert for the phaser sweep. Lieutenant Commander Sarah Davison was giving a status report to Captain Wozniak when the Electra was suddenly hit by enemy fire. The Electra returned fire as best it could, but a hit to the bridge section ruptured the hull, and the entire bridge crew of the Electra was lost. Ion quickly overrode the command codes of the Electra and directed it back to the station. The Infirmary was informed that the Electra had been hit and to be ready when it arrived at the station. The Hubble, still badly damaged, finally reaches Deep Space 12 under cloak. Lieutenant Thrig Kolmik orders all hands to battlestations and to prepare to drop their cloak.
Thursday, 12/21/2006:
The station remains at Red Alert. Commander Scott Wozniak onboard the Cutlass sees the Electra taking a beating and orders his crew to standby to decloak and prepare to fire. N’tran has some idea where the enemy ship is lurking but needs to add two more phasers to the phaser sweep to pinpoint their location. N’tran quickly reprograms the phasers for a second sweep. Enjoy CHRISTmas everyone!
Thursday, 12/28/2006:
The station remains at Red Alert. Science officer Ermess onboard the Electra, notices a blind spot in Deep Space 12’s phaser sweep. Ermess targets the Electra’s aft phasers to the blind spot and fired, but missed the target. Ermess also lowered the Electra’s shields as soon as it reached transporter range of the station and asks Captain Wozniak what his orders are for the crew of the Electra. Captain Wozniak ordered one section of Deep Space 12’s shields to be lowered and to start transporting survivors from the Electra. A sudden torpedo blast from nowhere hit the Electra in the rear section, taking out it’s remaining engines. A tractor beam appeared and tried to pull the Electra away from the station. Captain Wozniak ordered the crew to target the source of the tractor beam and fire everything DS12 had. Only one torpedo hit the target, but it was enough to make it release the tractor beam. The long range sensors on the U.S.S. Makin Island (still en route tothe station) are picking up a rather unusual amount of flotsam and strange radiation spikes. The U.S.S. Makin Island is still unable to contact Deep Space 12 or the nearby shipyards. Warp coil problems are still plaguing the U.S.S. Makin Island.
